- Check opening times：Mandarake Nakano opens at 12:00 while Lashinbang Nakano opens at 11:00. If you arrive in the morning, start at Lashinbang.
- Look for older goods at secondhand shops：Fate/Zero aired in 2011-2012, so goods from its original run tend to turn up at secondhand and resale shops.
- Consolidate your bags first：Most spots are narrow alleys or in front of restaurants. Combining your shopping bags makes taking photos much easier.
- Short on time? Just do the two by the station：The last two spots are right outside the ticket gates and take 5-10 minutes before you catch your train.

- Nakano BroadwayThe heart of merch hunting in Nakano. Mandarake’s specialty shops are spread through the building by genre: figures, doujinshi, animation cels, retro toys and more. Mandarake Nakano opens at 12:00.
- Lashinbang NakanoA secondhand and resale shop that opens at 11:00, so it is the efficient place to start if you arrive in the morning.
- Nakano Sun MallThe covered shopping street running from the north exit to Broadway, lined with restaurants and shops, and connected to the Fate/Zero location at the north exit plaza.
- Arcades around BroadwayPrize figures from crane games turn over constantly, so it is worth a look between shops.
For Fate fans: one more stop worth the walk
ufotable, the studio that animated Fate/Zero, runs ufotable Cafe Tokyo in Nakano (1-38-11 Nogata, roughly a 15-20 minute walk from the north exit toward Waseda-dori). Seating is mainly by lottery reservation, but merch-only customers are admitted starting 30 minutes after each session begins. Collaborations and entry rules change, so check the official website and X account before you go.

Many of the spots listed are right next to operating restaurants, shops or private property. Please be considerate of other customers, store staff and local residents, especially around Yoshinoya and Tenya at lunchtime. Some shops inside Nakano Broadway do not allow photography, so follow each store’s rules.
